ShoeMoney Tools Review

Submitted by admin on Friday, 22 May 2009No Comment

shoemoney_toolsI guess everyone has heard of ShoeMoney Tools, a collection of tools for SEO and PPC. I also jumped on the bandwagon and tried it out, mainly because there was (or still is) a special offer where anyone who signed up paid only $3.95 for the first month (and they really charged only $3.95 for the first month, not billed me forward for like 3 months like many do).

Well, I can’t write a long review cause there’s nothing to write about. I’ll get right to my opinions and conclusion:

ShoeMoney Tools is a good set for anyone starting out in SEO and PPC (plus it may be useful for affiliate marketing). It does a little of everything: keyword research, ppc research and ad building, expired domains with PR, and other things. It’s good.

BUT, I’m used to having more options than that, even if they’re on multiple domains and I have to jump from one site to another to get a keyword research done. For example, AdWords Keyword Tool coupled with Y!SM’s and AdCenter’s research can give me far more information than Shoemoney Tools. And KeywordSpy keyword/ads tracking is also better than Shoemoney Tools’ version.

That’s perfectly fine, as AdWords and DomainTools are specialized in their field and it would be hard for anyone to try and approach their functionality while offering other, totally different services.

So, if you like having a all-in-one tool and are just starting out, ShoeMoney Tools is perfect (I’m sure they’ll add more features and improve the current ones soon). But if you don’t mind keeping a registry of passwords, usernames and billing info for a dozen different sites, having an account at websites and services that specialize specifically on their niche is much better.
